The superb drumming that we all enjoy at the Circle is charged by a superb FIRE. Here is a particular thanks to our chief Fire Tender, Rick Pratt, who has been dedicated to this task for years. Rick has expressed that keeping the fire is a meditation for him, but the fire is the heart of our circle.

Please keep fire safety in mind. Listen to the Fire Tender(s). Rick is our official Chief Fire Tender. He - and assisted lately by Rebel - have been doing a beautiful job at keeping it safe, vibrant and delivering the energy. We have created an aisle for them to bring in material to burn. Please keep this as clear as possible. Attend children always. No one can add to the fire unless they request  and have been given specific ok's to do so. This guideline is first and foremost for your safety. Thank you.

A warm thanks to Moon Path Circle, to the Tequesta Steering Committee members (Spelcastor, Sophia, Pat, Ken, Jeff, Rick and Mark) and to all of the volunteers, to Keihl for the wonderful altar decorations now for many years and  to many many more who assist in set up from start to clean up, parking, gate, decorations and etc. Many hours are dedicated and Moon Path Circle has been an invaluable and committed organization making this happen for the community.

Please Note and pass on this information:

Come before 10pm - Come before 10pm - Come before 10pm
Increasing popularity of the event has required us to regulate late attendance. You must enter the park before 10 PM to be admitted. Please come prior to this if you wish to attend. Entry to drummers around sunset is encouraged. There will be an officer at the gate after 10pm turning people around.

Fire Eaters and Spinners will be facilitated by Jazz Pizazz:

If you are a student or employee of Jazz Pizazz you are already covered and good to go. If you are not a student or employee of Jazz Pizazz please see Glynna when you arrive. She will direct you to our easy safety measures and then spin to your heart's content.

A thank you to Glynna Deaner of Jazz Pizazz who is our new Poi facilitator.

Alcohol and Drugs policy
The vast majority of attendees are absolutely wonderful and respectful. Folks abusing the space and not having common sense will shut any such event down. State Park rules prohibit the use of Alcohol and Drugs. Police are on premise. Do not get yourself or others in trouble. Use common sense and keep the Circle a sacred time of grounding.

Pets policy

Pet aids for disabilities are the only pets allowed.

Photography / Filming policy - Respect people's privacy.

ANONYMITY is important to many people who attend this celebration. To many it is a sacred event. Photography and filming will be allowed by permission only. It is considered rude to have a continuous flow of flash going off at the circle, especially during ceremony and people privately dancing. If you are continuously disturbing people with your flash or film, unless you are on a specific project, you may be asked to leave.

Always keep Fire Safety in mind. Supervise your children at all times.
Under 18 must have an adult with them. No adding to the fire unless prior arrangements have been made. Fire Tenders are in control of the bonfire. Keep skirts and loose clothing away from flames. The stone circle can become very hot.

If you are Disabled or have a Huge load of drums
- tell parking attendants and we will assist you to the circle. We have reserved spots for ADA toward the front of the circle.

If you are disabled, you can park closer to the circle and we will assist you.

$7 entrance fee goes toward the event costs which include:
There is over head for this event which includes Event Liability Insurance, Required Park Rangers, Reqired Park Patrol officers, Birch State Park Primitive Space rental, Required parking volunteers, Portable Handicap Restroom, Supplies.
